Large Group Exercise Class Descriptions
Ageless Fitness – This is a 60-minute class dedicated to a slower paced workout. Ten-seventeen weight training and cardio stations are performed followed by stability, balance and strengthening work performed as a group. We complete the hour with a relaxing cool down stretch.
Boot Camp – This is a 60-minute indoor group cycling class designed for those that want to address all five components of physical fitness in one workout. You will spend approximately 45 minutes on the bike followed by a 7-10-station weight training circuit, abs/core and cool down.
Boxing Plus – This is a 60-minute class which features boxing intervals performed on the WaveMaster punching bags combined with TRX Suspension System muscular strength training intervals. This heart pumping, fun and innovative format leaves you sweating bullets and spent.
Cycle/Abs – This is a 60-minute indoor group cycling class designed for those that want to train specifically on the bike followed by an abdominal/core segment after cool down.
Cycle Circuit – This is a 60-minute indoor group cycling class designed for those that want to specifically perform HIIT on the bike and during the weight training circuit. Three rounds of cycling interspersed with three rounds of circuit training provide you with a “knock your socks off” workout.
Functional Strength – This is a 60-minute all weight training format that will challenge every major muscle group of the body. Excellent for total body strengthening and a terrific compliment to a cardio focus class on alternating days.
Mat Pilates – This is a 60-minute class dedicated to Pilates mat work which will challenge you emphasizing core strengthening and lengthening throughout the entire body.
Pure Stretch – This 45-minute “pure” stretch class concentrates on improving your flexibility across all joints of the body through specifically performed static stretches, recovery/relaxation/visualization techniques as well as myofascial release to break down the density of the fascia connecting all bone to bone, muscle to bone and muscle to muscle. You will depart refreshed, relaxed and lengthened.
Short Circuit – S/C – This is a 45-minute version of the WTC.
Step Interval – This is a 60-minute step interval class that blends high intensity, low complexity step choreography with muscular strength training intervals. A total body workout that torches fat and calories with a non-stop intense and fun performance.
Weight Training Circuit – WTC – This is a 60-minute class featuring a 14-station weight training and cardio circuit performed at least twice. Each station is 75 seconds in duration with non-stop exertion working every major muscle group of the body. Fun, effective and the stations change weekly.
Yoga – Hatha Yoga – This is an excellent 60-minute class dedicated to a constant flow of yoga postures and poses designed to strengthen and lengthen the body. All fitness levels are welcome.
