Nate Mentzer is our newest Manager On Duty with a deep resume in the fitness field. Nate is both a Certified Personal Trainer and a Corrective Exercise Specialist both certifications with NASM. Nate says he is in the fitness business because “the body is an amazing piece of machinery.”
Nate took his certifications to the next level obtaining the Corrective Exercise Specialist certification. That certification allows him to work with clients on injury rehabilitation as well as correcting muscle imbalances. It typically incorporates myofascial release and is a slow and steady focused training methodology that builds strength to injured and surrounding areas while protecting against re-injury.

Nate describes himself as “a goofy guy” who loves making people laugh and who embraces his kooky side!

Carin became a Grand County local after choosing Colorado as her playground. Carin is most often found in the mountains be it on a bike, a board, skis or with her sweet golden retriever. She considers herself a lifelong "gym rat" and after 20 years of managing her small architecture firm in CA, she opted to create more time to play and be in nature. As part of her second path she became a certified personal trainer and fitness instructor specializing in spin. Because of her love of personal growth, Carin also obtained her certification in Life and Spiritual coaching. Carin's gift is empowering change. She believes in passion, purpose, choice, kindness, love, faith and freedom! Carin enjoys being part of the MLF team and is always available to talk about your goals and support you in reaching them!
